Great Day again today... Austin's LL team won again today!  It was one of the best games yet this season even though it started raining about 3/4 of the way thru...down pour.  Yuck!  But they won, Yeah!

I found out that this, Alexis's upcycled dress

was featured here:

All Thumbs Crafts

Thank You!!!

Trying very hard to get this crazy life of mine under control, organized, and workable!  I am a woman on a mission and I'm not about to give up!  Trying to schedule my day at home here a bit better to allow for cleaning time, organize time, shop time, kid time, MIL time so that I can have some time for me to have craft & prettify myself and home time.
Organize your LIFEI've been looking here for some inspiration.  But I need more!
It's been difficult dealing with all of the needed changes around here.  I've dealt well with Alexis, my special needs rockstar, all of these years and managed to get it togeather.  I know I'll get it togeather again too!  No pity party here for me, but...it is just hard.

Having trouble with this Alzhiemers thing.  WoW...it's been a while in the making but man this disease is rapidly taking hold of the once so independant person my Mother in Law has always been.  No disrespect meant, but it's like having another small child in the house to care for.  If her meals aren't prepared for her she doesn't eat.  If you do not get her for the meal she will not even realize she hasn't eaten.  She forgets that she then ate.  It's hard to sometimes have to repeat something...every 10 minutes.  She needs guidance for all of her daily needs.  It's a shame, you can have a wonderful conversation with her for a good 15 mins. and 5 min. later she has forgotten.  So I've been reading up and getting information and support from here:

Enough is enough!  Thanks for letting me vent...you are all so wonderful out there in blogland!

If you have any helpful hints, tips, or stories you'd like to share about your organization please let me know!

Also, a quick reminder that the giveaway ends Sunday 5/15 @ midnight so be sure to head over and become a follower to enter.

Trust me, I feel for you... My mother didn't have Alzheimer's, but she would forget things. I constantly had to repeat myself. (She was 89 when she passed away.) But just try to take a deep breath, count to 10, and just repeat yourself. Even if you have to do it ten times. Trust me, when she is gone, you will be very happy with yourself for being kind to her and good karma will come back to you. ESPECIALLY since she's your Mother-in-Law! Man, if I ever got a D-I-L like you, I would truly be blessed. ANYONE would! You are a wonderful person for having her there. Your husband must be a wonderful person too, for you to do this for his mother. God bless you.
Best,
Gloria

P.S. I SHOULD have said that I "HOPE" to get a DIL like you! My son is only 20, so I don't have one yet! I wrote my comment above as if I had a rotten DIL! LOL!
