Glam Pumpkin Topiary

The weather is beginning to change here, so thoughts of pumpkins and Holiday decor has started swirling around my mind, but pinning down my Halloween Style has not been an easy task.  I love all types and styles of Halloween decor from the spookiest to the cutest and everything in between, especially with a bit of girly glam thrown in.  I had picked up a bunch of foam pumpkins from the dollar store as soon as they started to hit our shelves in August.  There was no way I was not going to get my hands on some like last year!  With a bit of paint and some rhinestones I was able to whip up this glam painted pumpkin topiary.

I removed the plastic flowers that topped the small pumpkins and actually pulled out or cut off the stems.  Each received a coat of black paint and the fun began.  One pumpkin was left plain black {but now looking at it, that might change... perhaps a monogram?}  The second pumpkin was glamified with some rhinestone stickers I had picked up at the craft store.  They were cut apart to fit and simply stuck onto the pumpkin.

The middle one received some white diamonds all the way around, with some black pulled through and a simple dot of gold paint at each point.

The pumpkins were then placed one on top of the other using a bbq skewer and some glue.  A silver sheer ribbon was hot glued on and topped with a Swarovski crystal Fluer De Lis pendant.

The topiary sits atop my secretary desk for a glam touch of decor this Halloween Season.
How many ways to decorate a pumpkin can you think of?
