Everyone loves a good party, and there is no better joy than celebrating a new life with a baby shower! Food, Fun, and Festive decor are a must for any party, so why not try to incorporate the chosen theme for the new nursery into the decor? I've recently had the opportunity to design an original painted Bunting Banner for a shower which coordinates with the "Parents to Be's" chosen bedding for the new babe.
The bedding was a soft mix of taupe, yellow, white, and robin's egg blue with both a circular and gingham pattern.
A darling little elephant theme was chosen. I drew up this cute little elephant taking cues from a sweet little elephant figurine and painted it in a soft grey and white... adding a sailboat and ball.
Painted canvas banners are a wonderful alternative to paper banners as they are durable and can later adorn the nursery walls to provide years of memories for both parent and child.
The center image banner is flanked on both sides with the coordinating circular pattern and the gingham both hand painted and sealed for durability. All of the banners were threaded onto a sateen grey ribbon and can be adjusted to span up to almost 6 foot across.
