So, as promised, I'm going to share with you a more detailed look at some things we did to make her party special for her... I'm sure this idea is so absolutely tutely original, you would have neeeever thought of on your own... Zebra Strip Labeled Water Bottles!
lol!
just kidding! It all started a few months ago when we came across some hot pink an zebra striped paper plates and napkins at our local discount store for a buck a pack... promising Boom that the house would look like a pink paint can exploded... we set out to purchase and make all things pink and zebra. My girl loves her some duct tape... she'd rather pick out a new roll at the store than buy a new outfit or a video game so we have A LOT! 2 days before her party, she was playing with her tape and the realization hit me to use the tape as coordinating labels for the water bottles...
I've always loved water bottle labels, but the drawback is buying special paper and using special inks because as soon as they hit ice or get wet... the beautiful colors run! What good is water if it's not cold? The duct tape is waterproof! The colors will not run!
The process is pretty self explanatory... cut off old label and wrap with coordinating duct tape, ice, and serve!

ReplyDeleteThat is a really cute idea. I imagine kids would love to help decorate the bottles with the fun prints. Please stop by and link this post to Artsy Play Wednesday on Capri + 3.
